Whether or not you are having sex with other people these days, make sure you have protection methods available, such as condoms or dental dams.
That way, you'll be prepared for any eventuality.

Even if you don't have an active sex life, getting tested is still a good, healthy habit, because STBBIs don't target any one group of people... except maybe those who don't protect themselves.
Oh, and STBBIs aren't only transmitted through penetrative sex! If your sexual activities include oral sex, mutual masturbation, or sharing toys, make an appointment to get tested.
